Marketing Consultant
The term consultant is very broad and has many interpretations. Some consultants can advise or deliver the tasks. For most clients this type of service can provide an economical solution.
A favorite definition of mine is “support businesses and organizations in making their visions, dreams, and goals become reality.”
My consultation consists mainly of five key elements and is a collaborative effort.
- Clarity. This is an essential element that really sets the stage for progressing forward. We establish clarification of vision, goals, obstacles, successes and resources.
- Strategy. Develop a strategic plan to accomplish the goals. This document serves as a reference point and includes specific activities with timetables and deliverables.
- Direction and Focus. While the strategic plan charts your path to success it also provides a checkpoint for marketing and business development activities and decisions.
Remember that activity without strategy and focus is merely distraction. With gentle nudging I help you stay focused and directed to remain on target.
- Process. I develop your marketing and business development program based on steps one and two. Upon completion you will have tools including templates and samples that are your company's customized playbook.
- Monitor. How are we doing? Outside of landing a contract it is sometimes difficult to answer this question without tools to help you monitor interim progress. You will also receive tools to help you monitor your staff's progress.
Additionally, this allows for validation…confirmation…and when necessary, realignment and adjustments.
